Part of the Thesis Project at the Visual Communication Design career at Facultad de Bellas Artes (Universidad Nacional de La Plata)
The work consisted, at a first stage, on an investigation of the graphic identity that in that moment the pharmaceutical line of products of the company had. Analogous cases, including competition and other companies of the industry were also investigated in their graphic and branding parameters.
At a second stage, the project consisted on the product branding design for the pharmaceutical line of Roche© Laboratories.
Graphic parameters and information architecture were defined for the different products websites (see website redesign proposal here).
The work has been done according to:
- the pharmaceutical product usage habits
- the legislation in different countries where the company sells its products
- the image that such a traditional company has
- the economic possibilities to produce graphics for a global audience.
The key concept and guiding premise for designing a new face for Roche© was “scientific innovation”.
